Mission Date: February 18th 2152

Attempting to relax, Archer happened to meet an alien woman named Keyla staying in the cabin near his. The two hit it off and spent some time together, but Archer noticed that Keyla seemed reluctant to share details of her past. Eventually, Archer learned that Keyla's family was massacred by the Suliban. Upon hearing that Archer had experienced his own run-ins with the mysterious aliens, Keyla immediately bombarded him with questions. After taking a bio-scan and running it through the Enterprise computer, Archer learned that Keyla is a Tandaran, the same species that ran the Suliban detention camps. Archer confronted her, but before he could learn more, she rendered him unconscious.

Elsewhere on Risa, Sato encountered an alien companion of her own, a charming young male with a very complex language. Sato was intrigued, though her attempts to master the complicated tongue proved frustrating. Eventually, her lessons turned into a romantic encounter. Tucker and Reed were not so lucky. After meeting two attractive alien women in a club, they discovered that their "dates" were actually grotesque alien males ... who robbed the two officers and left them tied up in a basement.

Back on Enterprise, Dr. Phlox attempted to indulge in his annual hibernation, but was interrupted when Mayweather injured his leg and required medical attention for a strange painkiller given to him by a Risan doctor. Luckily, Phlox was able to discern the problem and administer a cure. Overall, the crewmembers all had interesting adventures on their first vacation from Enterprise.
