Star Trek in Norway

Unfortunately none of the major TV channels in Norway are currently showing any of the Star Trek series. The only channel that actually even remotely expresses any interest in showing sci-fi movies or series is Tv2 and to a lesser degree TV Norge, and then only during the night. It unfortunately seems that these genres is generally shunned like the plague here in Norway. What a shame.

The best place to obtain PAL VHS tapes or Sone 2 DVD's from the various Star Trek series and movies in Norway, is at http://www.BlackStar.co.uk/.

Norway in Star Trek

Did you know that the company that originally produced The Original Series was named Norway Productions.

Our very own Miss Universe, Mona Grudt, appeared in the 3rd season Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Identiy Crisis", as Ensign Graham. Ensign Graham was at the CONN when the Enterprise-D entered the Tarchannen system in 2367.

In the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Maquis, part I" we hear that one of the members of the Maquis was born in Bergen, Norway.

In Star Trek: First Contact we first saw the Norway Class starship.
